fifth annual feast · 2027
Little Italy, one pier over.
Food, music, and a procession for San Gennaro, right on the water.
La Festa (The Feast)
Every September, Tiki Beach turns its pier into a piazza: sausage and peppers on the grill, cannoli by the dozen, brass bands, and a procession honoring San Gennaro, the patron saint of Naples, all with Long Island Sound as the backdrop. What began in 2023 as the Italian Festival at Tiki Beach has become one of Westchester's late-summer traditions, and 2027 marks the fifth Sound Gennaro.
Think Little Italy, one pier over. Family recipes and street food, live music under the string lights, a procession along the boardwalk, games for the kids, and a night sky over the water. Everyone is welcome, and the feast gives back: all donations go to the Church of the Resurrection in Rye.
Viva San Gennaro. Viva the Sound.

Il Cuore della Festa (The Heart of the Feast)
The Sound Gennaro is put on by the Tiki Beach team and a committee of neighbors, and it takes a crowd to hang the lights, run the games, and walk the procession. Put your name on the feast as a sponsor, bring your stand to the pier as a vendor, or give us a few hours as a volunteer.

The feast honors San Gennaro, and it gives back close to home: all donations made through The Sound Gennaro go to the Church of the Resurrection in Rye. You don't have to wait for September to give.

Pastor, Church of the Resurrection
Father Chris became pastor of the Church of the Resurrection in Rye in September 2026, and a few weeks later he was on the pier with us for the feast.
Ordained in 2003, he began at St. Theresa of the Infant Jesus in the Bronx, was pastor of St. Anthony of Padua in West Harrison for twelve years, and then led Sacred Heart–Our Lady of Pompeii in Dobbs Ferry from 2019. He has also served as chaplain to police and fire departments across Westchester County.
You'll give on the Church of the Resurrection's own online giving form, run by WeShare.
Our sponsors hang their banners on the pier and put their names on the feast. Claim your spot for the fifth one.
